Mohamed Salah Extends Apology to Squad, Reveals Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has revealed that Salah expressed regret to the team in the wake of the uproar from his public comments.

Salah was left out from a vital match after voicing frustrations and claiming his connection to the head coach had broken down.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I apologise.’”
The head coach has refused to reveal on whether he was apologised to from the veteran striker.
Moving Forward
He emphasized that the dressing room atmosphere was unchanged. “He was his usual self, his demeanour was positive and it was business as usual,” the midfielder explained.
The midfielder also implied that a teammate fighting for a place is preferable. “It's clear there are different methods you can express yourself,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just be on the bench, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”
Positive Results
Liverpool's form have been impressive in the games following the initial controversy. He feels the Salah's words were not designed to destabilise the squad.
“If passion has boiled over, the source has been from a desire to win,” he finished. “That chapter is closed and we’re gelling well as a team, getting results and starting to win games.”
