Individual Who Reached For Ariana Grande at Movie Premiere Prohibited from Singapore
A man from Australia who vaulted over a barricade and reached for celebrity Ariana Grande has been expelled and banned from Singapore.
The man, twenty-six, was handed a penalty to more than a week in detention for causing a public disturbance and has now been "barred from re-entering Singapore," the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority stated to Singaporean press.
The man shoved through camera crews and approached aggressively the actress and singer, who was attending the regional launch for the film on November 13. Co-star Cynthia Erivo pulled him back from Grande.
He has a background of disrupting concerts and celebrity events, including rushing the stage at Katy Perry's Sydney concert in this summer.
The event sparked outrage in Singapore, with numerous people claiming he of causing further distress to the star.
The pop star has spoken of suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after a explosive incident at her performance in the English city in spring of 2017 took the lives of 22 individuals and injured hundreds.
In the legal process, the judge was informed he had made efforts to breach on the movie's debut twice, according to Singaporean media.

He then uploaded recordings thanking Grande for letting him on the carpet and said he was "at liberty."
Law enforcement took him into custody the next day and charged him with causing a disturbance, to which Wen pleaded guilty.
The Court Judge the magistrate was referenced by Channel News Asia as stating that he was looking for publicity, noting that he was mistaken to think he would not experience repercussions.
Grande has not commented on the incident.
The co-star discussed the event to the press, stating that she "simply desired to ensure my friend was secure."
"I'm sure he had no intention to us danger, but you cannot be certain with such situations, and I wanted to confirm that she was fine. That was my initial reaction," she stated.
